The revival of the fashion industry started in 20th and 21st century. We adopted it from Western culture, from their elites.

Western Influence and Pakistani Fashion

Pakistan’s fashion trends have undergone a significant transformation in recent years. However, Hollywood’s fashion and aesthetics have a big impact on these shifts. Ironically, the Pakistani Fashion Industry (PDI) is home to a large number of exceptionally talented designers who can unquestionably compete and fiercely challenge their rivals from around the globe.

The bride will often wear an embroidered brightly colored shalwar kameez, sari, or lehnga, while the husband will typically don a casual black or white shalwar kameez, sherwani, or western suit. Depending on the area and ethnic background, jewelry may or may not be worn with the outfit.

Stocking and Fashion

As the autumn season approaches, many women all around the world are preparing for the ‘tights season’, when the changing seasons call for wearing skirts or dresses with a little more warmth on the legs. Some people could be excited about the fall’s wardrobe options, while others may be dreading their drooping knees or having to apply transparent nail paint while running.

The pursuit of beauty by women, however, cannot be stopped. Someone discovered that nylon stockings could be painted on if they were unable to purchase them. During the war, leg cosmetics caused a fashion uproar by enabling ladies to apply makeup from their toes to their thighs. It gives the appearance of actual stockings. To simulate a perceptible sheen, liquids, lotions, creams, and sticks were all employed.

Nature of Stocking

Policy Objective

to maximize domestically farmed cotton’s potential and combine it with synthetic fibers and/or materials to increase value-added exports and take a leading role in the global textile and apparel supply chain.

Mission Proclamation

For the domestic and export-oriented textiles and apparel value-chain, to provide a favorable business environment, consistent, predictable, and foreseeable policies, and level playing fields.

Export Forecasts

Realizing the potential for value-adding in each link in the supply chain and leveraging inherited knowledge of the markets and products within the textile and apparel industry, export predictions.

Objectives for the Future

  • To take full use of the textiles and clothing supply chain by promoting adding value throughout the entire process, but notably in the final products.
  • To help cotton farmers become profitable again by raising yields, enhancing quality, and
  • lowering production costs.
  • To create this chain export-oriented and to strengthen the MMF sector.
  • To help the textiles and apparel value chain, particularly for BMR-added capabilities.
  • To assist in manufacturing by conducting a review of temporary.
  • Importation strategies and the function of regulatory bodies.

Challenges Facing the Textile and Clothing Industry

Previous textile policies included plans to encourage textile and garment manufacture and boost exports, particularly of value-added items, while addressing problems that affect the entire value chain. However, the majority of the goals were not met for reasons that were already covered in the evaluation of earlier textile strategies.

Restoring the Profitability of Cotton Producers

The main difficulty is restoring the profitability of cotton producers by boosting per-acre production while introducing cutting-edge seed technology, even though Pakistan is currently the fifth-largest producer of cotton.

Need to Transition in Projects

Furthermore, Pakistan continued to be a significant provider of raw materials that had undergone some processing, but there is a need to transition towards items with added value, such as technical textiles, clothing, and made-ups.

Lack of Facilities

Due to a lack of cutting-edge facilities, businesses must spend money on infrastructure-related items including captive power production, effluent treatment facilities, and water recycling facilities. This needs to be addressed by creating cutting-edge Textile and Garment Parks with Special Economic Zone (SEZ) designation, which would also help to defragment the textile and apparel value chain.

Inconsistent Policies

Due to inconsistent policies, such as an overvalued exchange rate, a lack of infrastructure facilities, and the availability of electricity at regionally competitive prices, foreign direct investment was unable to be recruited to the textile and clothing industries. Regaining the trust of foreign investors by applying the Policy in text and spirit would be another problem.

Favorable Agreements

The China-Pakistan Free Trade Agreement-II has lately allowed Pakistan to reach a favorable agreement. The development of the Gwadar Port and the CPEC projects will serve as a springboard for luring investment in the textile and apparel value chain.

Conclusion

Fashion trends are changing in the Pakistani industry. New trends are developing. Good fashion sense increases elegance and polishes the personality of the women. With cosmetics and a nice choice of clothing, stocking is also very important. Modern stocking is becoming a necessary part of the women’s wardrobe, making them important for Pakistani stocking.
